Clothes

Introduction

It also makes sense to look at the clothes you are wearing. By al clothes it is very important that you feel comfortable with it and you can do all your moves. Moreover you should not forget that the clothes can get dirty and get howls. Furthermore they are the only thing between you and the obstacle so that the clothes also function as a injury protection.

Footwear

Very important at the beginning are good shoes. They should have a good damping (which will not be lost after some jumps) to absorb the impact from a drop. It is also important to have shoes with good grip as this helps by for example wall climes and slipping on not so grippy surfaces by for example landing a precision. You should also take the weight of the shoe into account which is influenced by the sole, because more weight results in shorter jumps etc. Furthermore shoes with a sole in one peace are to recommend as they don't have smaller parts which can disappear easily.
To improve the technique it is possible to walk and do some LITTLE excises bare feet (or minimalistic shoes), because then you feel better how you are landing, improve the landings etc. and strengthen your food. It also allows to have a better shock absorbtion and has many more advantages like for example better grip, feeling what you are doing etc. Therefore it is adviced to change SLOWLY to bare feet (or minimalistic shoes).

Trousers

A sports trouser is recommended which even allows you to stand on one food and put the other behind your head. If this is possible you probably can do al moves without being limited by the trouser. It should also be a long trouser if it is possible as it is the only body protection.

Special trainings

If you are training in the dark a white shirt / sweater / jacket (depending on the weather) or trouser is hardly recommended as other people can see you better and see what you are doing. If they see a dark person in the dark they can easily think that you are doing something illegal eg. stealing, damaging things etc.
